Art is a statement. An expression of identity, energy, and emotions. My works are not just paints on canvas, but a reflection of my own perception of order and chaos, structure and freedom.
I don't allow myself to be pigeonholed – my art is loud, intense, sometimes raw, but always honest. Every canvas is an invitation to rediscover yourself, experience emotions unfiltered, and embrace the unpredictable.
I capture moments that oscillate between control and impulsive explosion. I find my inspiration in the tension between opposites—in the encounter between science and creativity, order and ecstasy, past and future.

About the artist
Born in 1995 in Salzburg, Josef Maier combines art with science and human self-awareness. After completing his medical studies, he decided to pursue his artistic passion professionally and devote himself entirely to art. His works are characterized by the juxtaposition of order and chaos and reflect a deep interest in the human psyche. He uses various techniques, from abstract painting to hyperrealism, and experiments with modern media such as augmented reality.
